Dr. B. Kiran Kumar is the Head of the Department and Senior Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care and Pulmonology, with extensive experience in managing complex childhood respiratory and critical care conditions. He specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of paediatric respiratory disorders, including pneumonia, asthma, cystic fibrosis, TB, allergies, aspiration, and chronic lung diseases. His services include pulmonary function tests, flexible bronchoscopy, foreign body removal, and sleep studies. In the PICU, he provides advanced care using ventilation, inotropes, central line insertion, chest tube insertion, POCUS, dialysis, and ECMO. Dr. Kiran Kumar has served at prestigious institutions including Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (New Delhi), KIMS Cuddles (Hyderabad), AIIMS (New Delhi), and PGIMER (Chandigarh). He is a prolific researcher with over 20 publications in paediatric respiratory and critical care and was awarded the NCPIC 2018 first prize for his work on sepsis outcomes. He also contributes as faculty at national conferences and is a certified BLS/PALS instructor.
